The Nampo Art Museum, which opened on February 19, 2005 as Jeollanam-do's first registered art museum, is a living-friendly cultural space that operates various genres of cultural and art programs with four exhibition halls, a performance hall, and a creative education room. With its beautiful natural scenery at the foot of Palyeongsan Mountain, it has become a famous attraction in Goheung that is visited by not only local residents but also tourists.

Hadamjeong, a garden created in the Nampo Art Museum, was registered as the 10th private garden in Jeollanam-do on September 1, 2019, and is a place where more than 90 species of trees and 200 species of wildflowers and other plants show off their beauty in each of the four seasons. 
Hadamjeong is a beautiful garden that has been making the museum shine, and it shares the beauty of the garden with some 50,000 visitors each year who come to experience the arts and culture. 
The beautiful scenery of the eight peaks of Palyeong Mountain that surrounds the back of the garden like a folding screen and the view of the sea below is a famous spot that boasts a mountain behind and a river in front (baesan-imsu), which is sure to impress visitors. The sculptures placed in various parts of the garden create a refined atmosphere. 
A shaded walking path has been created along the edge of the garden, and a spacious rest area under a large hackberry tree provides a comfortable resting space.
